What do I need to make Nikon lens autofocus?

I have a Nikon D3100 and I have three lenses for it. I have the 18-55 kit lens, a 55-200 telephoto and a 50mm 1.4 AF-D. I received the 50mm as a gift and I know that it has to have AF-S in order to be able to use it in autofocus on my camera. I'm wondering if there's a converter/adapter type thing that I can purchase and attach to my lens and camera that will allow me to use the autofocus feature!

How does the Nikon SB-700 CLS work with the Nikon D5000?

I know that the D5000 doesn't have a Commander mode, but I'm sure the Nikon SB-700 has a Commander mode? So that will let me use my pop up flash to activate the Nikon SB-700 wirelessly right, but it IS NOT i-TTL? I also have a D70 so it becomes i-TTL when shot wirelessly?

New Nikon 50mm 1.8g for Dx cameras?

I want to buy the new 50mm 1.8g for my d90, but i understand that it won't be 50mm because my camera is dx format it would be like 75mm focal length. I was wondering if i should still buy it? Or should i just buy the 35mm 1.8?

How to take portrait at night with nikon d90?

I usually used night mode when i'm taking a portrait. I'm using a tripod as well but sometimes there's blurry and the face is not sharp… Can you suggest me what other tips to make it better…

Is a Nikon D3100 too much to ask for, for a 16 year old? I love to take pictures of everything and I'm going to be making films. I love photography and film and I think of ways to set things up for a picture and all I have is my ipod camera, which truly sucks.So, for my 16th birthday I'm thinking of asking for the Nikon D3100, but I think it's too expensive!
Help? I really want a great camera. Do you know any cameras as great as the Nikon D3100 but not as expensive?

Does nikon d3100 have unlimited video?

I know it can only videotape for 10 mins, but i want to know if after you video-record something will you still be able to videotape 10 mins after a recording…
for example; on my canon powershot SD1200, i will videotape like a 6 min video and there will only be 4 mins left to videotape next: S
i want to know if on a d3100 you can record a ten min video and either a) have no more video-recording time left
or b) videotape more vids in a same-length as the previous video… Ya know?

i would LOVE to know because i want/need a d3100 for christmas cause i love photography (duh… ) and coldplay is planning on coming to america in later 2012 and i would LOVE to videotape most of the songs… And take pictures:3

Nikon D7000 with 18-55mm lens?

Hi, I'm considering buying the Nikon D7000 to replace my old D60 and I'm considering just keeping my D60's nikkor 18-55mm lens and buying only the D7000's body. Are there any major disadvantages to doing this? I'm not a pro or anything so I don't need any crazy lenses; I just want to make sure the quality will be good.
