Any places in Chicago where you can rent camera's?

I have my first major shoot this Saturday and I own a Nikon P90 but I feel it is not very appropriate for an event like this and it won't give me the most successful pictures I want. I tried rent a center but they don't have cameras of any sort. I would preferably want a camera like a nikon d50 or a d3000 or Canon. I would really appreciate your help.

Why does my aperture's ability to go lower change?

I'm a new owner of the Nikon D90 (first DSLR as well) and though I have many questions this is one I can't figure out. Some days I'll be able to set my apertures settings as low as F3.5 and others it only goes to F5. Why is this?

Exposure compensation, explanation please?

I use Nikon D5100. I shoot 2 photos in shutter priority mode. First photo is at +1 EV 1/30 sec.f/5 ISO 1000. Second photo still at 1/30 sec.f/5 ISO 1000 and now +3 EV. But there's no difference when I compared it. They look the same, no change at all. Why? I'm confused. I'm new to DSLR.

Nikkor f/1.8G - is it a good lens?

I use a Nikon D40.

I want to buy a lens that can make my pictures bright, with sharp objects good bokeh and so on. I found out about Nikkor f/1.8G and became very interested in it. I've heard it's a very good Lens. I just wonder if anyone has used this lense and if it was good? Is it worth to buy a 1.4G, or is 1.8G enough? Is there a big difference?
Also, does the D40 has a built in APS?

Why does the Nikon d7000 have a 0.94x magnification?

So I've been comparing the viewfinders of Nikon d7000 and Eos 7d, which happens to have the same 100% coverage and the same viewfinder size of 0.63x according to DPReview. But, the Eos 7d has a 1x magnification compared to d7000's 0.94x. If it has the same coverage and size, why does the magnification differ?
