Nikon D3100 is best one?

I was thinking to buy Nikon P500, but now I want to go to compare with Nikon D3100, I think it's starting level camera for professional people.
It is easy to use?
What's the best benifitis in it?
or in the same range any other camera is good to buy?

Nikon D3100 is a DSLR, it's much better than P500 or any other point and shoot camera. It is a starting level for DSLRs, it's brilliant.
The benefits are better quality, faster AF, more control, but only if you will read the manual and practice!
Canon EOS T3 and Pentax K-r are similar at features and price.

The P500 is a upper level bridge camera, and a nice one at that. The D3100 is a D-SLR, so it's a much better camera to start with. It's an entry level camera. A pro would use a D3.

I've had my d3100 for a few months now and must say that it is much better than my p100 (predecessor of the p500) it just takes a lot sharper pictures and i love the fact that with my d3100 i can just upgrade the lenses and Accessories Rather than having to buy a new camera every 6 months! Of course the d3100 will be much more expensive in the long run, especially to get the sort of magnificatoion you get with a bridge camera but for me the loss of zoom is made up for by the awsome picture quality of the d3100.

The D3100 is a dSLR is more technically adept in taking pictures but only if you know the basic concepts of photography. If not, you will get exactly the same quality of pictures as compared to what you get with a P500.
