I have a nikon D3000 with a standard nikon 18-55mm lens and it has stopped getting a clear focus on manual or auto focus settings. I have tried cleaning the lens but I don't know what else could be the problem. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Dance performance photography with Nikon D3100?
My art teacher has asked me to photograph my schools' hip hop dance performance. I tried to shoot the dress rehearsal but the pictures were blurry and/or too dark. The stage was dark and only lit by stage lights which ended up drowning out the faces of dancers with the light.
How can I prevent all these problems? What settings (ISO, shutter speed, aperture) should I use? I'm using an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II (non-VR) lens - the kit lens.

I'm looking at spending about $550 on a new DSLR Camera. I'm in between the following three options (listed by current preference with 1 being my top choice):
1) Sony Alpha A33
2) Nikon D3100
3) Canon EOS T3.
Which one would you choose and why?
Just some background information. I'm a beginner and newbie to DSLRs looking first and foremost for image quality. I want something easy to learn (start in Auto mode) and then be able to grow into it.

I have a huge passion for photography and I know that I later want to pursue it as a career. I'm 15 years old now and I have been into photography for about a year and a half.
I'm looking for second opinions on my photographs, advice, tips, anything you can give me. Anything that will make me improve as a photographer. Or even just overall what you think about my photographs, that would be great.
All of these photos were taken with a Nikon D3100 and lens is a 18-55mm that came with the camera. I'm hoping to upgrade to a 50mm f\1.4 lens on my birthday.
Anyways any opinions would be GREAT. Thanks so much.

Will any of these circular polarizer filters work on a Nikon D5100?
I was just wondering if all the circular polarizer filters on this page:
http://www.nofrillscameras.com.au/digital-camera-filters/digital-camera-circular-polarised-filters#/p/clear/camera_filter_size/86
would screw onto the end of my Nikon VR 18mm-55mm lens which I use on my Nikon D5100, according to the bottom of the lens the diameter is 52mm.
Thanks!
Added (1). Also, which one do you suggest I purchase?
Added (2). Or if you maybe know a better one that would fit, that could also be helpful info.
