How to put Nikon D5100 in 30 fps movie and full time auto FOCUS in movies?
I can't see the option for 30 fps only 24 and 25! And i don't know where the full time auto focus in movie mode is. In the movie settings you can only change microphone and resolution and frames (24 or 25) any ideas? The movie mode only focuses when i half press shutter on new point.
Added (1). Bad idea or not i would still like to know how to do it. I'm reading the manual.
Using auto-focus during recording is a bad idea - manual focus is the way to go. Read the manual that came with your camera.
I'm impressed that you're actually reading the Owner's Manual. Here are two sites that will help you learn to use your D5100:
http://www.nikondigitutor.com/eng/d5100/index.html Who better than Nikon to teach you to use your Nikon D5100?
http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/D5100/D5100A.HTM Scroll down to the heading "D-Movie Mode" and you'll see how to set your camera using the "Movie Settings" menu.
