Looking for a Pentax K-X DSLR in Navy / DSLR buying advice needed?

Hi, I'm looking to buy my first DSLR and I chanced upon an image of a navy Pentax K-X and I just knew "That's the one". Unfortunately I'm a little late as the K-X is now discontinued:-(

I'm considering getting the K-R or a Nikon D5100 if I can't find a K-X in Navy. The main advantage of the Pentax (from my reading) was the ability to use old lenses and 9 point A-F while the Nikon is a bigger name and has full hd video recording (which to me isn't such a big deal).

I eagerly await your response!

My Nikon D5000: 55-200mm lens is not focusing?

I just purchased a new lens and arrived in the mail today! Exciting, but I'm having trouble with it focusing. When I had my 18-55 mm lens on its super clear when turning on my camera. I mean I shouldn't have this issue right! When I put on the new lens? It should be clear when viewing "live".It seems I can only do distant one (not super far away), but like 5 ft away for instance is what turns out okay when focusing and not a simple one of like my chapstick standing up on my desk… Is it just me? Looks like I'm going to have to return it:-\

Does the nikon d3100 come with a memory card of class six or higher?

To actually record in 1080p HD video, the camera you use has to be of class six or higher to write the memory fast enough. Just class six isn't very safe, because a lot of times the camera just stops recording, and messes up. I'm going to buy one of these cameras in a few weeks, and I'll upgrade my sd card for sure, I just want to know if I'll be able to take 1080p HD video with it right out of the box.

What are the differences between these lenses?

Links:
http://www.nikonusa.com/...F1.8D.html

http://www.nikonusa.com/...F1.8G.html

They both are 50mm lenses w/ f1.8 and autofocus. So what is the difference between these lenses other than the second one being more expensive. I'm going to be using this lens with a D3100 and they both say they support DX mount. Also, the first one looks like it has a metal enclosure. So, what's the difference?
