Does the nikon d3100 come with a memory card of class six or higher?

To actually record in 1080p HD video, the camera you use has to be of class six or higher to write the memory fast enough. Just class six isn't very safe, because a lot of times the camera just stops recording, and messes up. I'm going to buy one of these cameras in a few weeks, and I'll upgrade my sd card for sure, I just want to know if I'll be able to take 1080p HD video with it right out of the box.

By default, a nikon kit does not come with anything but the camera and a lens, and all necessary caps

you can buy a bundle from a store that may contain an SD card. Otherwise, you will need to buy one separately.

Except for the new Nikon D800, I've not heard of any DSLR that comes with a memory card in the box. If you're going to buy any camera, I'd strongly suggest buying a couple of high quality sd cards.

For some reason camera manufacturers used to put a tiny memory card in the pack with their cameras.eg with my CAon Powershot A1100 I was supplied with a 128Mb card - it holds just 30 photos. They realised that the card was so small it was useless and most folk left the supplied card in the box and bought a bigger one. Instead of putting a bigger card in the box they now just leave it out!

Buy Sandisk Extreme class 10 cards from a reputable supplier (eg Amazon). There are lots of fakes out on Ebay!

From the factory while in the sealed box, digital cameras do not come with a memory card. If ever the camera comes with one, it is offered as a bundle by the seller. Ask and make sure you get the memory card you want.
