Yes it will. It won't work with the Nikon CLS system so you'd need to invest in off camera flash triggers if you wanted to shoot off camera. But it will work as an on camera flash.

It might work. However, if it is a strain on your budget to buy a real Nikon SB 700, throwing away $80 on this cheap Zeikos imitation only puts you that much further from having something good.
Throwing in a set of NiMH AA's and charger is not bad. Why do they bother throwing in the pocket tripod which is one of the worst there's even for a pocket camera and unuseable for a DSLR?

That tripod is laughable. It will never work. It is only about 3" high, and your camera will assuredly fall over.

If you are going to buy such a flash, but one without all of those worthless junk accessories.

If you are on a budget, go to Target and buy a Targus flash for $35.It will not be any better than this one, but it is at least cheaper.
