Nikon D80 Set-up for Multiple Pictures?

I was wondering if there's an attachment for a Nikon D80 that I can use to take multiple pictures over a period of time without touching the button. Basically, I'm wanting to take pictures while I work out without having to stop and mess with the camera.

Which Camera to buy in below 35000 price range? - 1

Hi.actually it was a dream for me to buy a camera(NIKON or CANON) for many year i was wishing, so when it comes closer to buy a camera i'm actually confused. Its because i'm confuse with DSLR or Bridge camera(Long Zoom-Point and Shoot) to buy. Also adding more detail i actually like to take distance photos(long zoom) also meeting low light conditions in the night photos. Also adding i like to buy a DSLR camera but with the money in my hand (about 35000) i can't but a long ranged(in zoom) DSLR camera.
some of the cameras that i have researched through this period: Nikon series P510, D3100, D3200, D5100 & CANON series SX40HS, 1100D, 550D
so kindly please provide a suitable suggestion for which camera (also any other cameras you can suggest) to buy within my price range

thanks in advance

Added (1). Its not a case of mixing both DSLR and point and shoot… I'm actually confused with long zoom of point and shoot(bridge camera) and DSLR, long shoot with high price range(my budget only 35000)

50mm or 35mm lens for travel?

I'm going to New York city and plan to do some street and landscape photography. I have a Nikon D5100 and plan to bring 2 lenses. A 18-55 and buy either a 35mm or a 50mm, both with a high aperture. Which one would you recommend?

Affordable radio slaves?

So for my weddings and special events photography class, we're required to purchase several things. One of those things being a external flash(duh) and a radio slave or sync cord.

Being that it will be my first time working with an external flash, I really don't know what to get.

Can anyone help me in choosing an affordable radio slave with a transmitter and receiver that will work fine?

If not, what sync cord is the best? Does the brand even matter?

This class is going to require a lot of on location and studio shooting so basically the flash isn't only going to be on the camera.

& now that I'm at it, is there a good third party brand where I can find an external flash for a Nikon d90? An affordable one I mean.

If not, i'll stick into buying a sb 600:)

Pardon my ignorance, but the only thing I want is to make the right purchase

Can't view Nikon D90 NEF files in Adobe Bridge CS5? - 1

I can't view my NEF files in Adobe Bridge CS5.It only shows the NEF icon, and I can't open it in Photoshop via Bridge. However, I can open it directly as a RAW/ NEF file in Photoshop CS5 because I have Camera Raw 6.0. Why can't I view/ edit RAW images in Bridge CS5?

Does anyone else have a Nikon Lens buying addiction?

No, I'm not a compulsive shopper by any means, I'm actually pretty minimalist when it comes to buying anything else even clothing. Yet, when it come to purchasing or at least contemplating a purchase of a new pro series Nikon glass, I right away go crazy. The dollar amounts no longer mean anything to me when it comes to Nikkor lenses. I don't even have a pro Nikon body (just a d7000 and d80). I rent, I don't have a car, I rarely buy expensive clothing, I don't even have a personal computer or gaming console. I have a good paying job to provide for all that but all I care for is to get the latest Nikon glass and I'm starting to eye the awesome Leica as well. Anyone else share this weakness?

My built in flash pops up, even though my speed light is connected?

I have a nikon d3100 and I recently bought a speed light for it, but when I take pictures with it, I realize that the built in flash pops up, not fully but the head does raise up a little. Is that normal or not, or is there a setting in my camera I should change to let it know that the flash is connected? Really need an expert.
