Nikon D90 pictures not showing up in Adobe Bridge?
I have Bridge CS5 and whenever I plug the camera in directly using the USB, it fails to show me thumbnails of the pictures. This is the problem for All types of files (JPEG, RAW, etc). I thought it was my memory card, but I tried it with two other cards and the same problem persists.
I've also tried a card reader, and only TWO of the cards show the thumbnails (both SD). The other card is a 8GB SDHC card, which fails to show thumbnails when I plug it into the computer directly (via the camera) and the card reader.
Added (1). I have Windows 7 (32-bit).

Nikon DSLR is acting a bit slow?
It jusst started up a few days ago but, I have a Nikon d60 (i've had it for a few years) and now when I take a picture (even with a fast shutter speed) it takes a moment for it to reveal the photo (slow playback I guess). It has done this awhile ago and I pushed one button and it went back to normal but I don't know what to do now.
Or even how to explain what is going on. Help if you can, thanks in advaced!
Added (1). I just formatted it and that's when it started being weird:/.
I'll try it again though, but the card is empty right now.
Added (2). I don't check it after each shot, it just bugs me and I want to know why it's doing that.
Yes I go into the cameras menu and selet format memory card.
It's still slow.

Good digital cameras in your personal opinion?
I want a new camera, but I want one with really good focus.
I want the details of the pictures I take to be really clear.
I also want something with really good focus.
i like how her camera gets really focused and good lighting too.
She has a nikon D5000.
so any cameras that you know will get good focus, that are within $200?
or any camera that could get close to as good of quality?
and if you have one, could you include a link to some of the pictures you've taken?

Looking to upgrade my Nikon camera?
I currently have a Nikon D40x that i got in 2009 and looking to upgrade. I mainly want to upgrade because i have a 50mm 1.8 D lens that doesn't auto-focus with this camera. I'm thinking of going full-frame, but that depends how much i'm willing to spend. I just want a better camera overall. I only need the body. Any suggestions? I'd have to say no more than $700.
Added (1). Just adding that i'll probably buy a used camera. My d40x was used.

Is this lense compatible with the Nikon D5100?
Here is the ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...069wt_1007
I'm a new member of the DSLR family and I'd like to get into photography. My camera currently has the 18-55mm VR Lens. And I'd be mad to purchase this lense online and have it not fit. So thanks in advance! And any other helpful tips in different lenses/using them would be great too.

How to photograph your eyes and look really good and hq?

Which is better, Nikon or Canon? - 1
I'm going to buy a digital camera and I want other peoples opinions. What is better a Nikon or Canon? I've worked with a Nikon before, the D40 model, and loved it. It was simple and easy to use and took excellent photos. If I were to but a Nikon, what would you recommend, a D40, D3100 or D5100? I've used Canon cameras before, but it didn't seem as good as a Nikon. It seemed to take better photos at a better rate, but it was weird for me to use. What would you recommend? Also, I'm not a "photographer" I just enjoy photography as hobby.

Sb600 good for portraits? (I have d3000)?
I did some research on flashes a few months ago and I remember reading a lot of things saying that the sb 600 was not compatible with a nikon d3000 as an off camera flash. It lacked some kind of cell thing. (I want to use a trigger I think). But now that I have some money I'm reading that the sb600 is totally fine. I want to do portraits.
I don't know. I really want to buy a flash… And a stand as well. I'm sick of not taking good pictures.
So would it work for me?
