Nikon D5100 lenes? Amazing quality?
I have the default lens that comes with my Nikon and a telescopic Nikor lens… I LOVE the quality of the telescopic lens but it's sort of hard to use when doing profiles so I just want a standard lens that will preform great quality like that one… Would a 50mm work good? I do a lot of nature shots and take pictures of models and what not.
Are nikon D3100 14MP camera's good for beginner?

I was recording videos, then when I went to upload them to my computer it my camera (Nikon D5100) showed a message that said I couldn't use the card because it was damaged. I know that I have to format the memory card now to get it working but neither my pc and mac detected the memory card. So how can I format it if the computer doesn't detect there's a memory card?! Please help! The user's manual only says what I already know, not helpful lat all
What camera solution for filming snowboarding?
I have a Nikon d3200 but no waterproof case for it. Should I search around and buy a waterproof case, stabilizing rig (handle or other) and a good fisheye lens or would it be more in my interest (and cheaper?) to buy the new GoPro Hero 3 for filming snowboarding?
Added (1). By "filming" I mean taking video, it's just a term. Also, I'm limited to a 600-700 USD cost.
