I have a Nikon D7000 and when I would take pictures indoor where its darker, I would need to raise the ISO to 6400 and the shutter to 1/40 of a second and aperture of 3.5 to make balance the exposure but i don't want to use the flash because I want the most natural lighting possible. But when the setting are like this, the quality of the picture will be extremely bad. I use to have a Nikon D5200 and when I was indoor I could put the ISO at 320 and shutter at 1/100 a second and aperture at 4.0 and it would be perfect lighting. Is there something wrong with my D7000 or am I doing something wrong?

Is the Nikon D5100 still a good camera?
I see that the Nikon D5200 but it is way over my budget. I'm looking for a nice beginner/intermediate DSLR camera. I love taking photos of everything from nature to cars as well as enjoy making videos. I thought the D5100 would be a good choice but I don't know if the price will drop anytime soon. I search some sites like Cameta and Adorama and the Nikon Outlet Store and the cheapest I found was $480 for a refurbished 18-55 kit with a 1 year warranty. I also searched some legit forums and a guy selling his for $470 and it includes: camera bag, (2) batteries, battery charger, a 28-70 manual lens, a 70-210 manual lens, a 55mm tiffen UV lens, USB/AV Cable.
Should I wait for a price drop?

Which is better: this nikon or this canon (specs included)?
Canon - EOS Rebel T3 12.2 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera (Body with Lens Kit) - 18 mm-55 mm Lens ***Price is on sale for about $440
OR
Nikon D3100 14.2MP DSLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens, 3" LCD, HD Video ***Price is about $450
It will be a first DSLR for me. I will eventually probably get a bigger lens but that could be a couple years down the road. I will just be taking family photos, shots of the dog, scenery, etc. I would like to take a class at some point so I can learn more about them but to begin with I will be using the auto-mode.
Added (1). I guess my main question is, how much of a difference will there be between a 12.2MP and a 14.2MP. I know Canon is usually considered the leader in DSLR (and cameras in general) so should i get a smaller MP just because of the brand… Or would I probably be happier with the higher MP.

What can I use to stabilizes my Nikon D5000 for video?
I need a stabilizer for my DSLR for video but I don't want to spend that much money because I'm still in school. Also I'm not going to be getting paid for anything I do yet. I was thinking of buying the camcaddie or something like it in similar price range.

How to use manual flash mode on Nikon SB-600 when connected to D7000 as a slave?
I'm just getting into flash photography using my Nikon SB600 and Nikon D7000. As of right now I'm using my on camera flash to trigger the SB600 in slave mode so I can get some directional lighting. The only problem is that my controls for the flash go away when I have it in slave mode. I would really like to turn the power down to 1/64 on the flash while my camera acts as a commander. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this without the use of expensive Pocketwizards?

Nikon D5100 Camera was stolen what can I do to find it?
I was looking on craigslist today. And I came across a listing which kinda made me feel iffy about it. This listing only includes the camera with the neckstrap and battery and 16 mp sd card. All that was on my camera when it was stolen. A family member stole it from me and sold it. Since then I have had no luck its been a month since it has been missing. I have everything that goes with the camera besides the few things I listed that were stolen along with the camera. What can I do to find this camera and is it possible to find it?
