How many 10MB jpeg files will fit on a 4.7GB DVD disc?

I have a Nikon D5100. I want to have the settings setup as Fine and Large which means each file will be about 10MB's big. How many of these 10MB jpeg's can get burned to a DVD?

I expect to take like 800 or so at a wedding this saturday and wondered if they might fit. On one disc.

Cheaper equivalent for Nikon lenses?

I own a Nikon D3000 and I'd like to buy a new lens. I heard about Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8. But I found it at 250$ on e-bay and it's a little expensive for me. Could you tell me about a cheaper equivalent? Or any cheaper lenses that would be compatible with my camera and useful for both portraits and long exposures?

My pictures arent the right format/document?

I have a Nikon D3000 and when i upload my pictures to photoshop or even just my computer, the photos can't be viewed because they're not the right format or document. I've already formatted my sd card on my camera and I've retaken my pictures and they still won't show. What do I do?

Nikon Teleconverter Doesn't Fit?

I think I'm missing something very obvious. I have a Nikon D7000 and am using a telephoto lens that is labeled:

Nikon DX
AF-S Nikkor 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6G ED

I want a 2x teleconverter and bought the TC-20E III. I was hoping that this newest teleconverter would allow me to use my lens while maintaining autofocus abilities.

However, the lens seems not to fit on the teleconverter. What am I missing? The end of the teleconverter that would fit with the lens sticks out; it's like trying to fit male-male couplings. Pretty clearly I have the wrong teleconverter.

Looking at the TC-20E ii, it seems that I would have the same problem. Is there a Nikon teleconverter that would work for me?

Best lens for live music photography?

I'm starting to get into photographing live bands and the only lens i have is the one that came with my nikon d5100(18mm-55mm f/ 3.5-5.6)
It doesn't zoom as far As id like so if i'm not right near them then the pic looks bad. And also it doesn't snap fast enough when its dark so everything turns out blurry unless the ISO is extremely high in that case there's a bunch of noise.
Can someone recommend a good lens for my nikon that zooms pretty far and has a good shutter speed for lighting and such? I usually am right by the stage when taking pics if that counts for anything.

Is the nikon d5200 worth it/ NEW NIKON?

I was planning on getting a nikon d5100 but then i saw that nikon had the d5200. Its $200 more at my local bestbuy. But i was wondering is it worth it. Its a bit over my budget but i don't plan on getting another camera in 6 or 7 years. I'm not a professional photographer but photography takes a big role in my life. I'm familier with iso aperture, wb, shutter speeds etc. I'm more of a semi pro hobbyist photographer. I know the 5200 has 39 auto focas points and 8 more megapixels, but does it make a big difference. Please tell me your opinions on which camera to get
BTW: my new camera is suppose to be an upgrade from my olympus e3, i take all types of photos-macro to landscape and everything in between ( if that helps )

Can I use the lens from my Nikon D70 with another Camera?

I currently have the 2004 model Nikon D70 its old! And the screen is tiny!

As I'm traveling to LA next month I'm going to need a newer better quality camera. So I was wondering if (to save money) I can buy the camera body only for another camera such as the Nikon D5100 and use the 18-70mm lens that came with the D70?

I'm not much of a camera expert at all so I have no idea if this is a stupid question or not! Haha
