SD card not reading in camera?

My SD card was just working fine till yesterday. But, after i copied my pictures to computer and again re-inserted back to camera, it's not working. My camera says that SD card is not inserted when I have inserted perfectly. The thing is when I checked my SD card in my laptop, it's showing in my laptop. All photos are there too.So, I took another card and inserted in my camera and that works well but again when I insert my previous SD CARD the green light doesn't show and it just doesn't work on my camera.

What should I do? My camera is Nikon d3100

Lens for movie making on Nikon d5100?

I have so many ideas of making lil movies that go along with some of my favorite songs- can anyone recommend a really great lens that can pick up a lot of depth. I have a vision of getting a good close up of someone's eyes, and then a torso of a person while they lay on the ground.

I want the picture to be sharp yet soft, but professional looking. Can anyone help me with this?

Also, i want to add visual effects to the video that i shoot, can anyone recommend a software where I could add shimmers of light on the model?

Sorry for so many out there questions, I've never really experimented with my nikon…

Canon t3i 18-55m or 18-135mm?

So I'm planning on getting this camera soon. This will be my first DSLR camera. I was initially going to buy the Nikon D3200 just because its mainly for beginners, and I was going to buy another camera once I feel I mastered the D3200. But I feel like I can learn from the Canon t3i. This way, I can keep the T3i longer and not buy a new one. (sorry if its confusing)

I'm not sure which camera to get? On amazon, they give me two options. I can get the Body and a 18-55mm lens for $599 or the body and 18-135mm lens for $799. What's the difference? Is it that I get better quality on the 18-135mm? Or what?

A good walk around lens that isn't too bulky? - 1

I have a Nikon D3100, and I also have the kit lens that came with it (18-55mm), which works great! But I'm finding more and more that it's sort of bulky to carry around when I'm travelling and on the go.
I'm just doing research right now, not necessarily with an intent to buy. But I'm interested in a lighter, more compact lens that would be good for when I'm all over the place. I do like my kit lens, but I'm just sort of looking at other options.

Nikon Camera Lens For Nikon D40?

I have had the Nikon D40 for several years now. I have the 55-200mm lens as well as the 18-55mm lens… The 18-55mm is jammed so I no longer use it. The problem is that I'm having a really hard time taking clear photos for outdoor high school football games. The pictures turn out so blurry when the sun goes down. I can only use the 55-200mm lens like I said but was wondering if there's just not a lot I can do with the Camera I have or is there a lens I could by that might be better for outdoor football action shots. I also do some photography on the side for senior, newborn, and family portraits. With my 18-55mm being jammed, it makes photographing the portraits difficult at times. Any suggestions? Should I try getting my 18-55mm fixed or buy a new one or should I buy a different lens or even camera?

Looking for a lightweight dslr like the Nikon d3200?

I love the feel of the Nikon d3200 and how it doesn't feel heavy when I'm holding it in the air. But shops are limited in what you can try and test in this area so I need a little advice on a lightweight DSLR similar weight but good quality in a low price bracket. Unfortunately I'm unable to afford the high spec ones. I like the features of the canon cameras! But I like the speed nikon take the photo so all my fast moving pictures aren't blurry. I think there's a weather proof canon no? Is that as heavy as a normal DSLR or is it lightweight like the D3200. I have arthritis in my wrists which is the reason I need lightweight. And I'm growing out of my Nikon 1. Time to upgrade. Thanks

Added (1). Hi! I would like to add that I do know what a viewfinder is! But I also know that you have the choice of using either the viewfinder or the screen. I also know that canon do a touch screen that you are able to move around so when I'm trying to take photos of the racing motor bikes as they're coming down a hill from over a wall I'm able to do so. People use cameras for many different types of photography Edwin so maybe you need to learn that some people won't be just using it by looking though the viewfinder. Unless you wanna try that on a motorbike race…

Why won't the len's work for my Nikon D70?

I have a Nikon D70 i inherited from my uncle. It came with its normal lens, but also a Tameron AF 28-200mm LD lens, a Phoenix 100-400mm AF zoom lens, along with a few others. But whenever I attach the lens to the camera to use, it refuses to shoot a photo. I can't figure out why. They mount just fine. But refuse to take a picture. I found the manuals for the camera and the Tameron lens but its not seeming to help.Am I missing a button or something I'm supposed to push? I have a canon that I use regularly but I wanted to start practicing with the Nikon. I'm majoring in photojournalism and hoping to do action photography. It'd be nice to use the lens, or practice with similar telephoto lens, but i can't make it work.
