How to shoot best sports photos with Nikon D3000 with 55-300mm lens?
I just got this camera and am trying to figure out the optimal settings and the best way to get the perfect photos.
I have it on the sports setting and it will generally come out blurry when shooting volleyball pics. Can anybody please help me out here? Pretend you're talking to an idiot as I'm pretty much clueless on camera terminology.

Camera choice which would you pick?
Sony A58 or the Nikon d5100

Is the Nikon d3200 SLR a good camera?
I'm thinking about getting a Nikon d3200, and maybe going to collage to do a photography course. I really enjoy photography (especially wildlife and animal photography!)
Is the camera any good?
What pros and cons would you give the Nikon brand camera and the Nikon d3200?

Nikon D3200 slow at reacting to shutter button with flash?
Trying to describe it as well as possible; when using the flash (built in) with my d3200, after focusing and fully pressing the shutter button there seems to be a delay of about upto a second before the camera actually flashes and takes the photo. I don't have any self timers set, and the camera is very responsive without the flash.
It has only started doing this recently, and I can't think of anything that may be causing it.
Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Thoughts on SIGMA 17-50mm LENS F2.8 EX DC OS HSM?
Thinking of buying theses lens for NIKON D3100(CROP SENSOR)

Does putting your DSLR lens down in the case affect anything?
I just got a lowpro case for my nikon dslr and i noticed that in the pictures of the case they have the camera lens down. Growing up i was told to put the lens facing up because if it is lens down it can break something that attaches the lens to the camera body. I was wondering because Digital slr's are made different than camera 20 years ago if putting your DSLR lens down in the case affect anything
If it help i have a Nikon d7000 w/ 18-105mm lens

Does the brand of lense effect the picture?
I'm not the most experienced with camera lenses and unfortunately I broke my current one so I'm looking to get a new one.
I currently have a Nikon D90 with a 105mm lens (broken one) and the information is Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6. I'm looking at another with the same size: Nikon AF 35-105mm 3.5-4.5 Lens.
Is the one I have now better or the one I'm looking at?
I'm into sport photography so I don't need any macro lens, I just take photos for a hobby.
Should I just get my current lens fixed, buy the other (Nikon AF 35-105mm 3.5-4.5 Lens) or get a Nikon DX AF-S 18-135mm lens?

I'm going to a One Direction concert this week can I take my nikon D3200 with me?
