I have a Nikon D60 (gold edition) that seems to be getting a bit worse for wear. I do take very good care of my baby, and in two years the file-number HAS rolled over. There seems to be a dead pixel in my sensor, so is this normal for how many pictures I've shot? Or did I get a faulty camera?
And should I get it repaired, or get a whole new camera?
File does not contain image data on Nikon D80?
Ok so i inserted the SD card in my laptop so my sister could see the photos then she started to rotated them clockwise, after that i put the SD card on my camera an when i review the photos the message "File does not contain image data" appear when trying to view the pictures that my sister rotated, but when i put the SD in the computer all the pictures seem fine, i do i make the message go away? Is there a way to fix that?

I want to buy the Nikkor 70-300mm for my D90, the one with VR costs a bomb and the non VR is very cheap. So if i get the non VR, will it be and function exactly in the same way the VR would? I understand i'd need a tripod with the non VR and so i'll buy that as well. I want to know if the performance would differ and if not i'll buy the non VR

Have a nikon d3000 and need to tether it to take time lapse photographs for my class, but i can't get any of the software suites to detect it, which include Camera Capture Pro 2 and dcameraCapture.

How to make foreground lighter with very bright background?
Today I was helping my sister take pictures of the sun. It was easy to get the sun in the picture, but then everything in front of it went black from the bright background. Is it possible to get good exposure on the foreground at sunset?
I was using the Nikon D40x.
Here's kind of an example of what happened: 
In the example, the coast is black from the sun. Is there a way to be able to have the coast actually shown without editing afterwards?
