Stuck between Nikon D3100 and the Panasonic Lumix G2?
I'm looking for a decent camera, and am new to DSLR's etc- I have seen the Nikon D3100 and the Panasonic Lumix G2- what do you recommend and why?
Based upon the size of the sensors of both cameras, the Nikon is a better choice.
Based upon the performance of the two cameras sensors, the Nikon is the better choice

Based upon the number of lenses available for each camera system, the Nikon is the better choice
Based upon the video each camera can produce, the D3100 is the better choice.
* D3100 - Full HD video (1080p) and full auto-focus when in the video mode
* G2- HD video (720p) with no mention of auto-focus in video mode
You can't even compare the D3100 to G2.it's much better. It's not even a DSLR, the G2.
Get the D3100, it's the best DSLR out right now for beginners and more experienced photographers.
