True/False: you are happy with the Camera you have right now?

The new Panasonic & Nikon SLR in the market are making me crazy… My cybershot sony looks like a dwarf. And i'm not super-rich to get a pro-focus lens or any camera over 12.2 megapixels so to speak… Is life fair?

Added (1). @YSoserious: dude can i borrow urs…

Help choosing my first dSLR?

I've been interested in photography for a long time now, and I've mainly used my little Canon point-and-shoot and a Minolta 35mm camera but also various film cameras and my high school's dSLRs (mainly Canon) and now I think that I'm ready to upgrade to a dSLR of my very own. I'm leaning heavily on Canon cameras, mostly because I've already used them more than Nikon, but I'm not completely closed to the idea of a Nikon or some other camera.

I've been looking at the Canon EOS Rebel t1i and t2i and am kind of stuck in between. I've used both, and love them both.

If I were to get the t1i, I would get it new.
If I were to get the t2i, I would most likely get it refurbished, because of price.

Are refurbished dSLRs alright to purchase? I would buy it from Adorama.com, which I've heard is a reliable website to get cameras, lenses, etc. The t2i would be refurbished by Canon.

The bottom line is pretty much that:
I've done my homework about the camera that I want and have narrowed it down a lot.
Should I get a new t1i or a refurbished t2i?

Also, I know that the kit lens that comes with both isn't that great, so what would be a good, affordable, lens for me as beginner dSLR user to purchase?

Thank you.

Added (1). I'd love to get the t3i, but it's out of my price range.

My budget is pretty much allowing either a new t1i or a refurbished t2i.

Samsung ST700 reviews?

I'm planning on purchasing this camera before my son arrives!
I had a nice nikon but it was stolen not too long ago.
Someone suggested I buy a samsung because they're picture quality is out of this world. & not only with their cameras but with their Tvs & their phones as well.
Anyway, do you have any experience with this camera? If so. How would you rate it?

Nikon AF-S vs AF-D lenses?

Ok, I gotta ask… What lenses are better overall? I know AF-D lenses are cheaper, but I hear AF-S image quality is superb. What about performance/speed (I know this varies by aperture, but in comparison to each other)? Auto focus?

If I invest a little more money for the AF-S lens, will I love it or regret it?

sorry, Canon fans, this is a Nikon question so please don't go on and on trolling about how Nikon is inferior to Canon. (besides I'm well aware of how great some of canon's lenses are too!)

My windows movie maker clips keep disappearing from the video?

I have a nikon camera that I film my videos with. They come out as.mov's and I run windows so I convert them to.wmv through the program Nidesoft Video Converter.
When I upload them into windows movie maker, they are fine, but after a few seconds of putting them into the video and editing they show up as black instead of my video.
I don't know if the audio is there or not because I use a voice-over on my video so its separate. Its normally only one or two of the clips.
Please help before I smash my computer to pieces with my fist from frustration, thanks
