Please TEACH ME SOME BASICS OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
I Bought a Nikon D 3200 last month but still i don't know how to use it. I Can't go for a course too. It has some buttons which i partially understand, like AE-L/AF-L AND PROTECT BUTTON. I just want to know the simple way to take a photograph.
Ef/L/other letter codes in canon lenses?
I know for nikon lenses, DX stands for crop sensors while FX stands for full frame
would a lens like the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Mk II be usable on something like a t3i as well as 5dm2?

I'm trying to decide between a nikon or canon for my pet (mostly dog) photography.indoor, outdoor, portrait, action, etc… I shoot alot of different subjects but want to get some freelance work as a dog photographer. Any suggestions?
I recorded the video with my Nikon Camera and imported to my computer. (Windows Vista SP2.)
I'm going to edit the videos and clip them together because my friend and I recorded 2 videos. I'm trying to open Windows Movie Maker but the camera makes the file into. MOV files. I know WMM doesn't support. MOV files so what can I do to convert them to files it DOES support?
What Nikon DSLR can take video?
I'm looking for a Nikon DSLR that takes videos and stills. It doesn't have to be the newest one. I actually prefer something cheaper. I'm not a beginner but not a pro at photography. So maybe one around the intermediate level.
If I use the SB-900 on TTL to take pictures of a wedding or birthday party will I notice anything better in the images compared to taken with a SB-600 on the same or almost the same settings?
