Canon is better…

It looks like you missed your chance to get a Nikon D5100 for that price. I think demand dipped and price dropped to about $600 as people were dazzled by the 24 MP of the D3200. As more people start to understand what empty magnification that is, they are bidding up the price of the better D5100.
