Are their adapters for nikon lens to sony dslr cameras?

I recently purchased a Sony a57 dslr camera and I want to buy new lenses. The lens that I was looking at was a 55-200mm lens but they discontinued that certain lens for Sony. I looked around and found that Nikon has a lot more to offer in the lens department and they had the certain lens that I was looking for. So my question is if there's an adapter that allows Nikon to merge with Sony cameras?

Looking for a new camera? - 2

I'm really into photography and I'm asking for a nice camera for my birthday. I was wondering what would be a good camera for about $400.It would preferably be Nikon, but anything is fine. I would like it to take HD photos if that's possible and have it take rapid fire pictures.

Did any one purchase any camera from Hong Kong based online camera stores?

I'm looking forward to buy Nikon D600 (body only) as I already own 3 different D-Type lenses which I bought with Nikon F100 quite a while ago. These days I have been noticing that many of the Honk Kong based online stores are offering very attractive price and their customer's feedback are very appealing too. But I have not had any experience buying any goods from these grey importers.

Therefore, it would be so kind if you post some of your thoughts and experience if any.

My New Year's party idea?

Okay so I'm a teen and I'm having the New Year's party at my house this year and I wanted to know what you guys think of my ideas. So first I was thinking about having a photo booth type thing set up with my Nikon and then by that I would have props like hats and mustaches and stuff. To add to the picture taking part I will have little Kodak disposable camera's lying around so people can take pics and afterwords I will print them and give everyone a pic in a mason jar. I have a great long room for a dancing area so I was thinking about hanging whit xmas light from the ceiling and then having mason jars with tea candles in that area. At midnight we will have sparklers and then set off big sky lanterns. What do you guys think so far? I have food and stuff already planned. Let me know if you guys have any other ideas!
Thanks!

P.S. I will also have decorations of little clocks everywhere counting down till midnight!

Is the Fujifilm XF1 12 megapixel a good camera?

I'm looking to buy a really good digital camera and my budget is about $400 max! I have been looking at Nikon and Canon cameras and I like them, but I spotted this fujifilm camera and I think it is raely cool! If anyone can tell me if it is a good camera to own, that would be great. Also, if you have any advice on camera buying I would like that too. I'm new to photography and have no idea what to look for in a good camera.

Canon camera types similar to canon t3i?

Hi, so I'm no photographer really but i'm just getting into it, i don't know what much of the terms mean, but i'm learning. I'm looking to buy preferably a canon camera however i will do nikon if it better suits my question. I've been looking into the EOS Rebel t3i however i'm not really interested in paying 700 dollars for a camera just yet. What I'm looking for in a camera is pretty much quality and how bright the colours are and how sharp the image can get, i'm also looking for focus, a camera with a really good focus! I looking at the PowerShot SX50 HS just as a start, however I'm not sure how large the colour saturation is or how good it's focus is. So when i was looking for colour saturation i came across the Nikon L180! Your thoughts?
I'm looking to take pictures with this kind of colour saturation:

and this type of focus:

Thanks so much! Also if anyone could explain what shooting in raw means in simple terms that would be greatly appreciated!

What kind of camera is good for a new photographer?

Help! This question is for the photoagraphers out there. Anyways I want a camera that takes really clear images like the ones people take on on this website: http://lookbook.nu/. I'm new to the photo world and I really need help. I asked a girl who posted a photo what kind of camera she used and she said the nikon D600? I looked it up and it was way too expensive for my budget. And plus I'm only 14 so my dad would kill me if I ran that up on his credit card haha. So what's a good camera that takes really clear images like the website I shared that is in the price range of maybe $100-300 dollars at the most?

What is a really great camera?

So this summer I had purchased a Nikon J1 camera. It comes with changeable lenses and it's pretty small so I can take it everywhere with me. However as soon as the battery drops below 100% even the TINIEST bitt, it won't properly focus and it's really frustrating because I paid quite a bit for it. Now I'd like to get a new camera instead that is still closer to professional than the little hand held cameras but not too complex… Easy enough to figure out without needing a whole lesson just on how to operate it.
It needs to have great battery life as well as an auto focus option.

Any advice will help!
