Nikon S 2700 Camera - Seeking Advice?

I want to buy a digital still camera. Nikon S 2700 meets my budget which I can buy for 90 USD in Dubai. My question is how good is the camera? And please let me know if there's another better camera in the same budget which I should buy instead of this one?

Its a few dollars more, but if I were looking for a Nikon compact camera, the minimum I would consider is the Nikon P310 (or equivalent from Canon, etc).

The P310 has PSAM (program, shutter/aperture priority, manual) modes of exposure so you have full control over the camera, plus it has a fast f/1.8 lens (that rivals some DSLR lenses), for great low-light capability.

This camera has been discontinued recently, so you should be able to find it on discount. The least expensive I have seen it in the US was $179. This is normally a $300+ camera.
