What DSLR settings should I use for shooting under bright 5500K LED lights?

I'm shooting with a Macro lens on my Nikon D100, and I can't seem to get it right. I just started using this camera a few days ago.

Common Sense
For starters, use the daylight preset for for color balance and a tripod. Provide more info as "b" requested.
