Nikon D5100 & Nikon D7000 owners? Does these cameras shoot Black & White in camera?
Do either of these camera's shoot black and white in the camera?
I will eventually get both of these once I save up my money.
I have a D40x with a 18-55 mm VR AF kit lens(with a polarize), 18-70mm VR AF lens and 18-200mm VR (NON AF (with a polarize) lens as well as 2 battery's, and a ton of SD cards. (I'm a photographer, and mainly photography automobiles, as that is my passion. Which camera should I buy first, the D5100 and then get the D7000 later or the more expensive D7000 first then the D5100? Concerns and thoughts and opinions welcome.
Added (1). Simple, the 5100 has features the 7000 does not… And vice versa…

Hi, i'm planing on buying nikon's 24-70 fx lens, i was wondering if it will lack of quality when used on a D90 (DX sensor ). And yes i know that the lens will have a different focal length on a crop sensor… Does anyone use full frame lenses on crop sensors?

I have the Nikon D5100 I bought it about a month ago, i need to do some stop motion work for Media, and i'm working with a software called iStop Motion which requires me to set my camera into PTP more for a live feedback view on my Mac screen, how do i set up PTP mode on my camera? I want to learn more about photography. I have a nikon d3100 that has had a good amount of use, but not to the fullest because I lack the knowledge of photography. I want to learn more and become even better to the point I can start doing this as a hobby and maybe side job.

Need opinion on Nikon D-90 Camera?
Hi
I'm new to DSLR camera. I have used Cannon SX 20 is in past and worked a lot with its manual mode as well.
I want to upgrade to Nikon D-90. Other options I have are Nikon D5100, Cannon 550 D and 600 D.
But my prefernce is D90.
I have a confusion here. Nikon D 90 is kinda obsolete. I don't want to upgrade my new camera model for next 5 6 years (will surely add lenses though.
Is it ok to still go for D-90 seeing that it is obsolete.
