Pro in what way? Like what are you taking pictures of? Sometimes the right subject will work wonders for the quality of the photo. If you're taking pictures of dumb things, or at weird angles, it won't look very good

Learn about photography. You can edit to your heart's content but learning about photography and how to properly use your camera to it's fullest potential is the only way you are going to get images with a professional polish to them. Otherwise? You should have just bought a good point and shoot.

If by professional you mean yourself:
Your 'pose' as well as posture should be firmed but also relaxed. An appropriate facial expression will also be needed. (:

If by professional you mean the quality:
You can use things like photoshop or piknik if want to add quality to your picture. Models have this done to their pictures All the time. That's why they look so hot. (;

Hopee this helped.

The obvious answer (although mistyped!) is edit your pictures.

Of course, If you have no idea on how space or angles work in a photo…

the best advice I can give you is to look at pictures you do like, that look professional to you, and imitate them, either while taking the photos or by editing.

That's a bit like saying I bought a 747 and don't know how to fly.forget about how fancy your camera is. Chances are you don't have a clue what half of the button and settings do anyway. I'm not trying to insult you. I'm speaking truth based on so many other questions exactly like yours. Focus (No pun intended.) on basic photography skills like composition, proper exposure, etc. Oh and all those buttons I mentioned earlier. You'll still want to learn what they do.

Keep your lens at the subjects eye level, for most photos. Don't be afraid to get close to people when needed. Train your eye to recognize good natural lighting.

However, you describe yourself as "not that good with photography." To become better is going to take more than just some "tips," but some studying and learning of the basics.

I would also suggest that you learn how to use your camera buy reading and studying the manual.

Simple, go into the camera menu and select "professional photos." That's how the pros do it.

Seriously, if you want professional looking photos, you need to do what the pros do; spend years studying and practicing.
