What are some cool flashes for the nikon d3000?

I'm going to get a new flash soon, but I know not much of flash. What are some cool flashes for it?

You can't really go wrong with Nikon's SB-700. Does everything you need in a flash and it's still quite affordable.

The SB-900 is a very versatile flash that is compatible with the d3000 and can even be used off of the camera, as a remote flash. It will cost you slightly more than the SB-700, but it will be more powerful, if that matters for you?
