I'm looking for a holster style camera case. I want something that will protect my camera. I don't want something with a lot of extra room so that the camera can move around, and nothing so tight that it puts pressure on the camera. Any ideas?

Which DSLR would work best for me?
Right now, I have a Nikon D5000. I really wanted a camera that could record videos as well, which is why I got it. But it has a few flaws. The sound quality isn't that good, so I wanted to plug in an external mic, but found out I couldn't. So what camera would I upgrade to?
What I would like in a camera:
Either Nikon or Canon
Can record longer than 5 minutes
10 MP or over
can plug in an external mic
and umm… Yeah.
recommendations please! Try to keep them in the $500-$800 only range. Please. No cameras over $1000. I'm a college student D

Good 70-300mm lens for Nikon D7000?
I'm purchasing a Nikon D7000 and also opted for (i) Tamron SP AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD or (ii) AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED. Please suggest the better one and also if you have any suggestion please do provide.
Also one thing should i go with the Nikon D7000 kit lens ie 18-105mm f3.5-5.6 ED VR or only body and look for other lens of that range, if you have a model(lens) in your mind please mention it in specific.
Added (1). Friends i appreciate your reply but the thing is that i want a definitive answer and model(lens) too and the reason why to choose that.so, please help
my range are 18-105mm:- kit lens or other model of nikon or 3rd party. Please mention a particular model
70-300mm:- above mention models or any other
also how is AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G I'm THINKING that if 18-105mm kit lens is not good then i would go for this model. Also suggest in 50mm lens category.

Where could i get the nikon d7000 15-108 kit for a cheap price?
I've searched all over the internet and found some websites at the price of 950+ but then i read the reviews on the sites realizing its a scam…

How to set camera to slow sync flash?
I want to set my camera to a slow sync flash setting (if possible with red-eye reduction). I'm taking a portrait in the night, that i want the scenery behind to show as well.
i have nikon d5100, 18-55mm & 55-200mm lenses, built in flash.
the max sync speed for my nikon is 1/200 sec.
the problem is that, when going to the flash setting menu, only 3 options for flash are coming regardless of the shutter speed selected: auto, auto +red-eye reduction, off. The camera is set to manual settings, so i suppose i should change my flash.
any insights?

How to set up impact powersync16?
Does this flash work with the nikon D7000?
and how you do set it up?
do you need to do anything in the camera menu settings?
and with the flash (sb-900) do you set it to remote or just turn it on?
Added (1). SORRY! I didn't mean flash i meant the radio trigger work with the nikon d7000? And i didn't want to use the on camera flash to trigger my flash. Is there any additional setup required for this to work?

I want to take facial portraits, indoors, with with a black background?
