Good 70-300mm lens for Nikon D7000?

I'm purchasing a Nikon D7000 and also opted for (i) Tamron SP AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD or (ii) AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED. Please suggest the better one and also if you have any suggestion please do provide.
Also one thing should i go with the Nikon D7000 kit lens ie 18-105mm f3.5-5.6 ED VR or only body and look for other lens of that range, if you have a model(lens) in your mind please mention it in specific.
Added (1). Friends i appreciate your reply but the thing is that i want a definitive answer and model(lens) too and the reason why to choose that.so, please help
my range are 18-105mm:- kit lens or other model of nikon or 3rd party. Please mention a particular model
70-300mm:- above mention models or any other
also how is AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G I'm THINKING that if 18-105mm kit lens is not good then i would go for this model. Also suggest in 50mm lens category.

The Nikkor's the better performer. The kit lens will get you started and isn't bad, if you're trying to cut costs, go for the body and kit lens, picking up the longer zoom when you've gained a bit more experience.

For now just get the 18-105. Having a 70-300 as your only lens would limit you. Nikon, along with the 70-300 AF-S VR, also makes a 70-300 AF and a 70-300 AF G.

That Tamron SP is surprisingly good, but it's pipped by the Nikkor. The 18-105mm kit lens is hard to beat unless you're going to spend big money of 2.8 zooms.

The general rule in buying lenses is to get from the same brand as the camera. You only go to third-party brands when budget is low.

This will ALWAYS baffle me.People who buy expensive DSLR camera bodies and then fit them with a cheap and NASTY 3rd party lens (Call a spade a spade)
It would be like buying a ferrari and then running it on paraffin because the fuel is cheaper.
A chain is only as strong as the weakest link. The lens IS the camera.
