Why won't computer recognize Nikon d3000?
Today i went to plug in camera using usb cord and it won't show up on computer at all. I've never had problems with it in the past 2 years i've had it. Anybody have any idea on how to fix this?

I would really like the Nikon d3100, but unfortunately that is too big/expensive. Does anyone know of a digital camera that is similar to the d3100, or just have any recommendations in general?

Auto Lens for Nikon D3000- wedding?
Looking for a good lens to rent for a wedding for my Nikon D3000. That will work in low lighting areas and give great images. Also I don't want anything that you need to do manual work with but still has auto focus and VR on it.

Nikon D5100 Audio doesn't work?
I'm a little new at this camera stuff, and well, at first my audio worked fine, when I record videos and such. But now I just don't hear anything. Is there a volume bar on it? I never dropped it, or did any damage to it. I DID notice you can change the audio settings to Auto, High, Medium, or Low, but I still don't hear anything when I record, or when I playback the video. What should I do?
Canon for video and Nikon for Photo?
I've heard this a lot. I have a d3100 and i've noticed it takes great pictures but when it takes video it has noise(the speckles). I don't know if its because i have a starter camera or what. I'm hoping to upgrade to a d7000 soon
Does anybody know if the tamron 17-50 2.8 for nikon has a built in focus motor? How about the sigma 17-50, does the sigma have one? I'm concerned because i have a d5100, which doesn't have a built in motor.
