I have a Nikon D5000 and I dropped it. Strangely enough, the only thing that was damaged was the shutter screen (of all things to break). Upon further inspection of the camera, I noticed that the shutter curtain was warped. It no longer opens fully to capture an image. I really need to get my camera fixed. I live in Prince William County, Virginia, and I'm not sure where to take my camera to get it repaired. Any suggestions? Am I better off just buying an entirely new camera body, and just keeping my lenses? I'm open to suggestions.

Hi, I'm really into photography, especially macro photography. I've taken classes and know how to use my camera (Nikon D3100) to its full extent. I want to get started with some macro photography now, but need help picking the right macro lens for my camera. I photograph a lot and would like a macro lens that can get pretty close up, but the cheaper the better.

My nikon d40 takes black images?

I have a nikon d40 and when i take a picture the image shows up black on the LCD screen and when i pop the card in the computer the image is still all black. It seems to be doing everything right to take the picture but there's NO PICTURE… I'm going crazy, will someone please help me before i throw it down the street…
