Spot on Dslr Viewfinder but not on images?
I was recently taking pictures with my dslr (Nikon D3100) and noticed that there was a mark (spot) on my viewfinder next to the far left focal point. I took shots anyway and reviewed them on my computer and noticed that there weren't any marks on any of the images. Any advice?

How to connect a camera the computer?
Hi, how do you connect a Nikon D3100 to the computer so that i can control it and see what is seen through the lens?

Why is my new Nikon camera take pictures that are always out of focus?
About a month ago i purchased a new Nikon DSLR, the D5100. Generally i like it a lot, but i find that when i'm in the midst of taking a picture, it will be crystal clear when i look through the lense or on the screen, but then as soon as i take the photo, it will turn out blurry and out of focus. Also sometimes the lighting will be perfect and then as soon as i take the photo it will turn out really dark. Any Ideas why that is? Its extreamly frustrationg.

Sigma 70-300mm or tamron 70-300mm for nikon d5100?
I have a nikon d5100 with kit lens 18-55mm.am
planning to purchase a new telezoom lens for it.
my budjet is low (maximum 10k).am
considering sigma and tamron 70-300mm.but
am confused between these two.TAMRON AF
70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD & Sigma 70 - 300mm F4-5.6 DG Macro… (with built in motor). I knw
sigma have another version of this lens with APO
( Sigma 70 - 300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro) but its
around 15k. So which is better sigma or tamron?
and wat's APO? Is it really matters? Design wise i like tamron.
Added (1). OR do i have to purchase a nikon 70-300mm or 55-300mm with out having an inbuilt autofocus motor? So that i will get the same image clarity of an expensive motorized telezoom lens of nikon!
But should do manual focus.

Problem with my battery grip (nikon d5100)?
I just recently purchased a Nikon d5100 as well as a battery grip I purchased online. The problem is the generic batteries are easy to remove from the grip, however, the official Nikon battery is very difficult to remove. It does not pull out when I push the little tab. Also, it seems like the d5100 is only detecting one battery, rather than both of them. If you have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

What is the better DSLR camera?
Hey so i'm wanting to get either the 2 DSLR'S i've seen around, the first one would be the Canon Rebel T4i or the Recently released Nikon D3200.So all you photo-enthusiasts should help a fellow photographer out!

Nikon d5000 still worth buying?
So I want to buy a dslr, I've been wanting one for a few years now but I finally saved up and can finally afford one, preferably less than $650 though, but I may be okay with a bit more if its worth it.
Right now I'm leaning towards the Nikon d5000 or canon t3i/t2i. I know these cameras have been out for a few years already so are they still worth buying? Is three anything around the same range worth getting instead? Also, if I buy it and don't like it, would it be relatively easy to sell back on say eBay or Craigslist?

Looking for a cheap type of DSLR but a good one?
A good, beginners DSLR… Just came from a bridge camera
I would like a good enough DSLR camera around 300 euro. Is the Nikon D3000 good
Thanks
Sorry if any wrong spelling!
( I came from a Fujifilm s2950… Something better than that )

Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 vs Nikkor 50mm f/1.8?
Hi, I'm a beginner photographer with a Nikon d5100. I have the kit lens (Nikkor 18-55mm) I'd really like to purchase a prime lens, mainly for portraits and achieving nice blur and bokeh. Both lenses are a good price and I can't decide. However, the Auto focus 50mm is more expensive and I don't have the money right now for it. I'm a beginner so I feel I should probably purchase an AF-S lens. Which lens would you recommend, and what are the main differences?

Does the Nikon D5100 have manual focus mode on video recording?
I've been watching test footage for the Nikon D5100 and the auto focus sound is really irritating. So is there a manual focus mode on video recording? I was going to buy the D5100 for pictures and videos.
