Does the Nikon D5100 have manual focus mode on video recording?

I've been watching test footage for the Nikon D5100 and the auto focus sound is really irritating. So is there a manual focus mode on video recording? I was going to buy the D5100 for pictures and videos.

Of course just flip a switch on the lens for manual focusing. It is annoying to use the AF in video.shooting with manual focus gives much smoother footage

Yes! That depends on the lens, not on the body. I would recommend using an old manual focus lens for video, its easier to focus than on the kit lens.
