How to take photos at night with Nikon D3100?

I just got a Nikon D3100 so I'm not very familiar with it. I'm trying to take pictures of these icicles outside my window and the moon is at a perfect place where it shines through perfectly. How do I capture this? I don't want a flash because I want to capture the natural light, and when I play around with the settings I can't seem to change the shutter speed so that the photo isn't shaky/blurry. Any suggestions?

How to recover pictures from damaged memory card?

Got a Nikon d3100 camera. Took a lot of pictures. Then I used it to record a video. Out of no where it says that the memory card is damaged. I plug it in the built in card reader on my laptop. It knows that it's there and it loads slowly but it won't open the files. And now when I go on computer, sometimes it's there, and sometimes it disappears. I need those pictures back. What can I do to get them?

How to wipe down/clean your dslr camera?

I have a Nikon D5100. I'm curious how you wipe it down. You can see little fibers of dust on the body & the edge of the lens (not the glass, the body of it.) Seems like it collects napkin fibers.

How to make the video you upload on youtube HD?

So I filmed a video for my channel on my HD camera with 1080p but when I upload it on youtube it drops to 360p unless the person watching clicks the setting and changes it to 1080p. Is there a way to make the video quality 1080p without the watchers having to click on the setting with 1080p? Thank you so much! By the way my camera is the Nikon d5100

Nikkor 35mm or 50mm on a D90?

I'm facing in a huge dilemma right now. I'm planning to buy my first prime lens, but I can't decide which one I should choose, between:

AF-S Nikkor 35mm f1.8G DX and
AF-S Nikkor 50mm f1.8G

I'm using a Nikon D90, and I'm planning to do portraits but i want to slip in a bit of full body shots.

I felt safe with the 35mm as my first choice, but it seems that no one's selling it in the location where I'm buying from. So I was thinking maybe I'll go for 50mm, but I fear that it may be too tight depending on my setting since I'm using a crop sensor. And this confuses me.

When using 50mm on a DX, How far do I have to go make a full body shot fit? Assuming the subject is, say, 5'5" - 6 ft tall? Does the 50mm become 85mm? I have a DX kit lens 18-105, so should I test it on 50mm or 85mm? I can't try the actual lens personally, because there are no dslr/lens stores in my location, and my uncle from UAE will be the one to buy it for me.

I accept other better recommendations, as long as its as affordable. Your help will be very much appreciated. And sorry if my english isn't perfect.

Nikon D70 Folder contains no images, but the card is full?

I desperately need help. I've been taking pictures for the past two weeks and have no problem with the card until now. This morning I was taking pictures of my little baby sister, had no problem looking at them at that point. Then I went to show my mom and got that error of "folder contains no images" not even 10 minutes later. I then tried to connect the camera (via usb) to my laptop to see if I could get them off there, I've had no problems doing this until this morning, and then I got the error of that the disk was not readable by my Mac. Can someone help me with this, I don't know what went wrong? I'm just so upset over this because it has some very important photos on it.

I received a Nikon D60 with an 18-55mm lens as a gift. Do I need anything else to make shots like these?
