Photographers: How do YOU store and print photos.and do what you do
I'm just getting into photography and bought a Nikon D5100. I'm looking at buying Photoshop Elements now. Can this program only be downloaded to 1 computer? I have one old desktop and a cheap laptop with no printer. Should I buy a 1TB external hard drive or just use a memory stick? I also need an inexpensive way to print photos. Can I plug an external hard drive into a photo kiosk at Walgreen's or CVS? What is generally the best way to store original and edited photos and what's the best and cheapest way to get prints?

Should I keep the nikon 35mm f/1.8?
I have a nikon D7000 with 18-105mm and a 85mm 1.4.
I do most of my portrait work with the 85mm and use the 18-105mm as an all purpose lens. I got a 35mm 1.8 recently for indoor photos of family and friends, etc. And possibly outdoor at night.
So far I'm quite disappointed with this. For example, comparing an indoor photo at f/1.8, ISO400, 1/20 to a photo from the 18-105mm at 35mm, f/3.5, ISO1000, 1/20 (with VR); I found the 18-105mm did a better job. With noise reduction in post, you can hardly tell the difference.
When taken outdoor, the 35mm shoots faster for sure, but the bokeh it produces is quite disappointing. The christmas tree behind the group is neither in focus nor out of focus. I had to stop down to f/3.5 (and higher ISO) to get a decent shot. I honestly thought the DOF would be much deeper at 35mm 1.8.
In other shots, the bokeh seems distracting rather than complimenting. (And if I have to shoot outside, the 85mm is pretty nice, even though I have to step back quite a bit to get it.)
If i want good bokeh, I use the 85mm (35mm has some bokeh, but not sure if it is worth it). If I want a group shot I prefer a greater DOF, which means the 18-105 fills the need. I really want to like the 35mm, but I don't seem to have a use for it. Should I return it?

Tamron zoom macro 1:4 for Nikon dslr?
I have a tamron zoom macro 1:4 lens and I wondered whether it would fit a Nikon d3100 or whether anyone knew of an adapter for it so it would fit?
This is really important because it decides what my next camera shall be
Added (1). I don't know what it was originally being used with but it is now with a canon ae-1 but with a lens mount converter
I know I won't be able to use the AF mode on the d3100 but will the lens fit and be compatible with it even if it needed a mount adapter?

Is there a 30x aprox.lens for nikon d3100?
I have a s3400 bridge camera with 28x optical zoom, i'm looking to sell it for a nikon d3100
the only thing that i will miss will be the zoom on the s3400 so i wondered whether there was an extremely cheap lens with roughly 25x zoom for a nikon d3100 it does not have to be a very good quality, just cheap and about 25x zoom

What camera would you suggest? - 1
I would like to know what camera you suggest for a beginning photographer/Cinematographer. I plan on taking pictures of people, landscapes, and nature. I'm also going to be filming action sports with it, such as skateboarding, bmxing, snowboarding. I'm willing to pay between 200-800 for the camera, and 50-200 for lens. One of my friends who is a cinematographer told me to go with a Nikon d5100 while my other friend told me to go with either the Canon 650D or the Canon 600D. I really need help and if there are more options beyond these cameras please let me know.

Is a Nikon D3100 better than a Nikon D40?
I'm new to this and I was just wondering…
Also what's the difference and how much do they usually go for?
Best answer gets 10 points.

Should i swap lenses would appreciate someone's input?
I currently have a D3100 with kitlens Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX NIKKOR
and a tamron 70 mm - 300 mm - F/4.0-5.6 which I bought last week.
I like to take pictures with a short DOF to really draw attention to the subject getting it as sharp as possible with soft blur around of things like flowers objects and people.
This is with my tamron lens: http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak…
I'm usually out taking pictures of scenery in woods and such.
I'm thinking a prime would be more suited for the pictures i want to take.
Should i Swap my tamron 70-300mm for a prime lens:
Nikon AF-S 35mm f1.8 G DX Lens: £125
Nikon AF-S 50mm f1.8 G Lens: £160
Nikon AF-S 40mm Micro f/2.8 DX G Lens £200

Can you use a Yongnuo yn-568ex on a Nikon d70s? - 1
I wanted to know if this flash supports HIGH SPEED SYNC on this camera? I like shooting family portraits outside but hate the look without fill in flash. Anybody know?
5 hours ago - 4 days left to answer.
By the way, the flash DOES support high speed sync. I just need to know if the camera can use the function and go up to the 1/8000
