Mac Mini For Photo Editing Or Another Alternative?
I was looking into a new computer for photo editing. I myself have a Nikon D5100, and may soon upgrade to a D7000 or whatever Id like when the time comes. I shoot occasional weddings with my aunt and I'm on my school yearbook and newspaper so I take a lot of photos and edit them. I plan on using Lightroom 4 for my editing. I'm most likely going to get the 2.3ghz i7 model (maybe the 2.6ghz? Is it worth it?) and the 1tb fusion drive. I will upgrade the RAM to 16gb myself because it is cheaper. Is this computer good enough for doing photo editing and such? Do you have any Windows equivalents for $1000 or less? I'm going to get a monitor so thats aside the cost of the computer. Thanks for your replies! I'm looking for any other alternatives!

Which of the Nikon D series is best for an entry level enthusiast? Nikon D3100?
They all seem to be great entry level dslrs. But my question is, which is cheapest? I have my eye on the D3100.
Added (1). I'll just be shooting some basic landscape and maybe some friends here and there.

Is the Nikon D3000 10.2 mp good?
I want to know if this camera takes good pictures and would be good as a starter camera for someone going into photography? (14 year old) I took some pretty good pictures with the nikon d40 sadly something happened with the shutter and think it would be better to just but a new one to upgrade. Is this nikon worth the money? (Obviously worth 200: P) Should I buy it? Also what are your pros and cons about this camera?

Added (1). I know it does not have a lens. Will the D40 lens work on it? Someone told me it would?

Nikon d90 with 50mm 1.8f or canon rebel xs 50mm 1.4f?
I want a really nice camera that takes really good quality in-the-moment pictures. Which one is better?

I'm wanting a good (but relatively cheap) telephoto lens for my Nikon D5000 for wildlife photography. The lens in question is a Nikon 300mm /f4.AF. What's the difference between AF and AF-S besides being silent? Does it impact the image quality if i use an AF vs an AF-S? The AF is so much cheaper. And if you know of any better and cheapish lenses, please let me know!

Will a Quantaray lens work/fit on a Nikon D3200?
A friend gave me a Quantaray 50-300mm lens and it works on a Minolta AF camera. I'm trying to save money here, and I'm just wondering; will it work on this camera?: http://www.walmart.com/...D/20920868

How to get super crisp video with my Nikon D5100?
Perhaps it's not even capable but i really hope it is. I get everything perfectly in focus, i've done many tests on different depths and objects it looks great on the display but when i play the video back on my computer it's never that super crisp edge i'm looking for, it still seems ever so slightly blurred.

Buying my first DSLR! Which should I choose?
I'm about to make the transition into the DSLR market from the compacts and I'm looking for some help in choosing a camera.
At the moment I've narrowed it down to four choices:
Nikon D5200 (I personally think i should go for this one because this one is in my budget)
Nikon D3200
Canon 650D
Nikon D90
What's most important to me is image quality. And 1080p video recording option
So, which do you think would be the best choice?
