Does the Nikon D3100 work with usb microphone?

I recently purchased the Nikon D3100. Since it doesn't have a microphone input, can you connect it with a usb microphone? And if so, what brand would you recommend?

Also, would the Zoom H1 do the job if I'm shooting a video with this camera?

No. Most entry level SLRs don't offer mic jack so if D3100 doesn't offer a MIC input, you will have to use built in mic instead of an external one.
I doubt D3100 has USB port either. It may have a micro or a mini USB port but that is mostly to connect to the computer. Unlike a computer, cameras don't have full use USB adapters. You can't connect every USB device ot a Camera or as such anything that is not a computer (or a tablet etc).
