Should I Take my DSLR to HighSchool?

I just shifted to nyc about like 3-4 months ago and I got into high school as a freshman. I like photography, I use a nikon d7100 with 18-140mm lens, usually back in my country our school did not allow any electronics so I could never take it to my school. I was an official photographer back than for my school and I would take it in events. My work also got published in a magazine. So I was thinking is it okay?/weird to take a dslr in school with you because all you could capture is your friends. My school don't have any restrictions. My cousin is a senior official photographer in another school and I also want to be one in mine, so yeah. What do I usually capture inside the school except friends?

SD card saying 'not formatted' in camera after deleting files from card on computer?

SD card saying 'not formatted' in camera after deleting files from card on computer?

Added (1). I deleted the files from 2 SD cards by opening them in finder (on Mac) and then manually deleted them. Both SD cards now come up on my camera as 'This card is not formatted. Format the card'. I googled this and tried going to utilities>disk utility and restored the card and 'repaired' it. I put it back in my Nikon and still not working. Help appreciated! Also saw from google results st using Terminal but opened it and was a bit scared bc codes >.< so if you think that's a solution go easy on me!

What exact settings do you have on your DSLR when shooting long exposure shots of stars?

So, I just recently got a Nikon D7100 and I'm trying to learn how to get better shots of the stars. Last night it was a clear night with a full moon and I went out in an open field to take pictures. The first couple of shots I set my camera to 1600 ISO with an aperture of 3.5. I set the shutter speed the highest it could (30 seconds), but the picture didn't turn out all that great. It was pretty black but you could see the stars and a tree in the foreground a little bit.
BUT then, I decided to try out the Bulb mode. I had the same settings except I only pressed it down for 10 seconds and the picture was significantly brighter than when I had it set to 30 seconds. It was so bright it almost looked unreal. What happened there? Is there a difference between bulb mode and doing it the normal way? Or did I accidentally change something in my camera menu between them? I'm just really confused and very new at this haha. Sorry this was so long. Would love if you had an answer!

How to recover files from a corrupted SD card?

I recently took a bunch of pictures on my Nikon camera and the most recent files were damaged and wouldn't open, so I downloaded a program that was referred to by a website where somebody had the same problem, but it has copied the files of the photos that I already had but smaller and awful focus and only some of them are now left on my SD card and I have loads missing, what should I do?

Camera accessories store in Lebanon?

I'm looking for a shop that sells accessories for DSLR cameras. I'm mainly looking for the WU-1a optional wireless mobile adapter for Nikon cameras. Also as an alternative I'm looking for wireless SD cards such as the ezShare and EYEFI. Any info would be much appreciated.

PS: The closer the shop is to Beirut the better.

My Nikon 5700 will only work if it's on the charger?

It still turns on when not charging, but the battery symbol will flash and it will shut down after 30 seconds or so. I don't even have time to take a picture! But it works perfectly fine if it's on the charger.

I've left it on the charger over night and also tried to charge just the battery over night. The battery doesn't seem to hold any charge.
