Which is a better video resolution? 1080/50p or 1080/50i?
I have the Nikon coolplix s7000 and one of the resolution for filming video is 1080/50p and the other one is 1080/50i Which one is clearer and sharper? Could you please explain what 50p and 50i are?
What lens adapters do I need for these lenses. I have a Canon 60d?
I recently bought a canon 60d and some vintage lenses. Only thing is I don't know what lens attachments I need exactly. Here's a list of the lenses.
sigma zoom - 0 1: 35 - 4.5 f = 28 - 80mm multi-coated
quantaray for nikon AF 28-90mm 1:35 - 5.6 macro 0 55
canon lens fd 50mm 1: 18
rokinon 1: 2.8 28mmmc 0 49
I'm having an issue with my digital camera, which is a few years old. I have to press the power button several times to turn on or hold it for a few seconds then it will turn on and shut off. I try several times and it just keeps shutting off after a second or two of turning it on. Even when the battery is fully charged! Should I have to get a new camera or find a replacement battery for it? I really can't afford a new camera right now.
Help finding a good camera? - 1
I need help finding a good CHEAP camera that has a flip screen so when filming you can see yourself, I think I found one but I would like some better opinions please
Well i'm a bit stuck, I have held both the cameras at the store and they felt quite similar, but the Canon felt a bit, a very small bit better. Next thing I want to consider is the kit lens, what kit lens is better? So I have done some research and this is what I found:
Nikon D3300 -- Canon 100D
Image quality: 82 -- 63 (also I want to mention my friend has some (good)lenses and a speedlite)
Weight: Similar, very similar
Speed: 5fps -- 4fps
Noise: 1385 -- 843
AF: 11 -- 9
Dynamic Range: 12.8 -- 11.3
AA Filter: No (better) -- Yes
HDR: No (manual) -- Yes
Weather: I don't care about this one
Movie: 60 fps -- 30 fps
Battery: Nikon
So, I have been to a shop, held both, did some research, I still can't pick, keep in mind that this is my first DSLR, but I have used one and know the ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture stuff and want to experiment more. Keep in mind my friend has a lot of accessories for Canon but the initial Nikon specs look better, however it lacks HDR. So what one is better?
How to make a HDR in photoshop or other editing software?
My Dslr (Nikon D3300) doesn't take HDRs but I have heard that it if you pop the camera on a tripod and take 3 pictures of the same scent, one in lowest exposure, one in the middle and one at the highest exposure. Once you have the three photos what do you do?
So I'm in the market for a new DSLR camera and I'm really only looking at nikon or canon. The only type of experience I have is with the canon t5. I'm not too worried about learning how to use them as much as I'm about a good quality camera. I feel like I'm more towards nikon and have been looking at the nikon d5500 or 5300. Would love multiple opinions my price range is going to be 600 ish maybe 700 with lens included. I can buy body only and just go with a very good lens also.
What camera should I purchase within a price range of $1000?
I'm about to purchase my first DSLR. I already have an SLR (35mm), but now I wanna get digital.
My options are:
The Nikon D7200 (maybe the 7100) and
the Pentax K-3 II.
I'm just looking for a camera between these to, no Canon for me!
I'm struggling to decide, because Nikon is a good brand with a wide range of lenses available (even of second hand). But Pentax seems to offer more for the price (even with its lack of lenses).
So I don't know! I want this camera to last for at least 5-10 years (yeah, I know). And I'm planning to travel around Europe.
Any other suggestions are welcome!
Added (1). By the way, my SLR is Canon. So I can't (and I don't want) to use its kit lens…
How good are LED ring lights & what are the deciding factors in selection?
I'm using the Nikon 40mm f/2.8 macro lens and I'm struggling with the light getting choked off. Am thinking of a LED ring light to get over this issue and need help in deciding
