Which one is better Nikon or Canon?
Which brand is better in your opinion Nikon or Canon?
-i wanna buy a new camera but i can't take a decision because i like 2 cameras and both are like the same in everything but the only problem is that one is canon and the other one is Nikon
so from your experience which one do you think is better?
Both brands are of great quality. I use a canon 5d and love it. I think there are differenced between competing models. For example, I think nikon's D7000 is better than Canon's 7D. It really just depends on which one feels better in your hand and has the features you want. You should also look at lenses and speedlights.one company may offer the ability to expand in an specific area of photography you are interested in more easily or cheaper than the other.
Canon
Nikon is definitely better. But just know with this question you will get varied opinions because you are either a nikon person or a cannon person just like you are a mayo person or a Miracle whip person (that's the first example I thought of because of all of those commercials that are on now) But in my opinion Nikon is better by far.
Ok first of all your question is vague, no one knows what camera u r talking abt, Canon and Nikon makes more than one type of cameras for varying budget. As a brand Canon is better because it is not a sub company of another big company like Nikon, Nikon is owned by Mitsubishi group. Also as a brand Canon always ranks higher than Nikon in Forbes most valuable brands.
As a Professional Camera maker that depends on people, I'm a Canon guy so I prefer Canon over Nikon and I have my reasons for that;
1) Best value for money lens
2) wide varieties of lens, such as creative lens which Nikon doesn't have.
3) best value for money DSLR, such as Canon 7D and Canon 5DMKII where Nikon's DSLR at the same range doesn't match up.
4) HD video in DSLR, tv series and filmmakers uses Canon's DSLR. Enough said.
5) all Canon DSLR including entry models can fit any Canon lens and have auto focus, this is not true for Nikon's entry models.
6) best software package in the box, it is superior to what Nikon has.
7) Canon DSLR produces sharper detailed and natural colored images than Nikon, ask anyone.
And so on…
Both brands build quality is on par and it all depends on price. Ergonomically speaking Nikon's higher range models edges out but in entry models Canon beats it. Example in higher range models Nikon has two sd card slot where Canon has one only, in entry model Canon has more dedicated buttons for settings and so on.
