I'm buying a 15-inch MacBook Pro ($1799). I'm in need of a new computer, & I'm interested in the iMovie since I've only worked with Windows Movie Maker. I'm not professional, but my passion is filmmaking. The problem is, my camera I have now has a video format of MP4. I need a camera, Canon or Nikon, that is compatible with the Mac computer (without needing a converter), HD video, and has rechargeable batteries. I don't care about the picture effects much because I already have a camera for picture taking. I just need a good working camera that isn't too high in price. I can afford a camera from $500 to about $850. I don't want to go past $850 to be honest. I've looked almost everywhere on the web, so if you can help me out that would be really great!

Which Camera Company is better?
I wanted to know which Camera Company is better. Is it Nikon, or Canon?

My son has a Sony a200 SLR camera and wants to sell it to get a Nikon 1 J1
My view ( why sell an slr and buy a digital which costs more)
his view ( J1 is compact and i love the features advertised online)

I'm studying abroad for a few months, and backpacking in Europe for one month. I want a good camera that isn't bulky, but still takes great pictures. Something that isn't too confusing. I was looking at the Nikon 1 camera's but I just have no idea. Something that also has a good video quality.

My NIKON cool pix l110 screen is broken. The camera still takes pictures but you can't look at them. Does anybody know how much it will be to repair this?

Nikon vs Canon (Which Will Be Better For Me)?
Looking for a great inexpensive camera with high quality performance, and I need the pics to look crisp and clear. I'm a fashion bloger and my camera quality is not the best for my site. I currently have a canon camera but the quality sucks. Please give me suggestions on buying a great camera for under$400 with great quality. I'm looking for a Nikon or Cannon. I'm not a professional but I want the best Help?

I'm looking forward to the Nikon 1 J1 10.1 Mega Pixels. And i'm sure it's a really good camera like it says. I'm in to photography and I know this is not the good camera for it but the reviews I hear says it's a great camera. I also enjoy making videos so I really want to know is it good or not. Or please name good cameras under $550.

What would be a good camera to take to a concert?
I'm going to 2 concerts next week and i'd really like a new camera to take to them. At the moment I have a Canon Powershot SX210IS but it's started to get quite slow when i'm using it.
I would like a camera with a decent zoom, is good in low light situations, can record HD video. I was looking at the Nikon 1 but I was told it wasn't that great in low light and I also looked at the Sony NEX-5N but was told it wasn't very sharp.
Also, the venues i'm going to are very small and they don't normally mind people taking cameras in.

Connectors on SB900 flashlight?
I have a nikon sb900 speed/flash light. Seems like the connectors are faulty or worn out. Can you just replace the connectors or hotshoe? Can you do it yourself?

WHiCH SLR CAMERA SHOULD i PiCK AND WHY?
I'm debating between:
Nikon D3000- $343
Nikon D3100- $549
Canon Rebel T3- $499
It would be my first DSLR camera. Any suggestions?
