Hi, i'm planing to buy nikon d5200(aps-c) with 18-55 mm, prime lenses are sharper than zoom lenses so i'm intrested in buying 35 mm 1.8f or 50 mm1.8 (buying lense with camera also gives me discount)
my main porpose for dslr is video and occasional photography, so which focal length is better for video(i mean for over the shoulder, shallow dof, close ups, following subject and cinematic stuff!)
How much is a nikon N200 worth?
My mom got me a Nikon N200 but i don't have much use for a film camera. I'm wondering how much i could get for it, It also has a Prospec MC AUTO ZOOM f=28-70mm lens and Promaster FTD 5700 Flash. And all three are in amazing "like new" condition
Added (1). N2000*

Low end full frame or high end crop sensor for a beginner?
Trying to get my head around this but I just can't.First off I'm beginner. I have a point to shoot and I've been always praised for the pics I shoot.I've shot birthday parties and few Christening party of my cousins, newborns pics. I will most probably do a portrait and fashion photography course. In addition to that i will be doing some low lights and a bit video. I won't be changing my gear or glasses for at least 2 years or 3.Apart from the money for the body that is $1700-$1800, I have $1000-$1200 separate for lenses and other accessories. The big hurdle which i'm stuck on is should I go for a low end full frame or high end crop sensor.Low end full frame Nikon D610 or Canon 6D.High end crop sensor Nikon D7100 or Canon 70d.Want advice from someone experienced.
Which is the better memory card?
All of these 32 GB memory cards are around the same price. Which one is the best? I have a Nikon Cool Pix digital camera, nothing special.
Transcend 32 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card
SanDisk 32GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card
Sony 32GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 R40 Memory Card
Does phase detection auto focus really makes big difference?
I want to buy dslr both for video and photos, i like nikon d5200 and sony a58, nikon has better image quality and big range of lenses, while sony has phase af which is great for videos and countinues focus. If that does not make difference in real world than nikon is better suited to me…
Should I clean the fungus in my lens?
I know that i a pretty dumb question. But heres the thing, I have a Nikon 18-55 mm vr lens which is around 6 months old and now fungus has started growing due to the high humidity in my area. It hasn't spread very much and doesn't show up in any images. When i took it to the repair shop they said, to use for some more time and then repair as cleaning will make it regrow. But I feel a little uncomfortable with that and keep thinking whether it will make the lens unusable. And they told if want they'll clean up.
What should I do? Please help.
Added (1). I got a dry box today!
Which dslr is best for advace beginner?
I need to buy dslr for long term purpose, intrested in both photo and videography, don't want to invest in something like nikon d3300 or canon 1200d, i like sony a58 and nikon d5200 don't know which on to get. Which one is better in image quality and videoquality
Don't know which camera to get?
I currently use a canon p&s with zoom, wanting to upgrade. I shoot fast. Not fast subjects but the way i shoot. Sony is boasting the fastest af for their a6000, but i still want bigger size sensor. And with interchangeable lens. I shoot fast and wide.
the camera i'm interested in are
FF=nikon df-retro style with specific dials
sony a600 or fuji x100s-really fast af.
or the cheapest entry level dslr, bec its not much of a difference.
which will be a better advantage in low light?
and for lens, which would be the fastest and widest for low light? The cheapest to the best.
Added (1). very low light capable camera + lens
wide
very crisp
top priority is size of the sensor= full frame. But can be less.
very fast operating
Which dslr is best for video stuff!(sony a58 vs nikon d5200)(25pvs 24p)?
I checked out both.sony has faster and continues af so i liked it, but it only has 25p and 50i, while nikon has 24p,30p and 60p, so is 24p important or i can live without it?
