Which dslr is best for advace beginner?

I need to buy dslr for long term purpose, intrested in both photo and videography, don't want to invest in something like nikon d3300 or canon 1200d, i like sony a58 and nikon d5200 don't know which on to get. Which one is better in image quality and videoquality

I still can't grasp why this type of question gets asked so often…
Is it too hard for you… To do some really basic research?
I would be guessing… At what you consider to be good video quality… You know what you want… So do some research…
I use a Nikon D5100 it isn't expensive and works well for me… It's simple and fun to use… That doesn't mean that you will like it…
Give 'You Tube' a visit and watch some of the reviews and comparisons…

Canon 600D/700D or 60D/70D

Have you considered a Pentax K30 or K50? Incredible cameras. I own one. Video isn't as user friendly as the Canikon's but I bought the camera to take pictures. I have a video camera for video.

Since I'm a Nikonian, I have to agree that the Nikon D5200 is the better camera. But, if the Sony fits your hands, it will be a quality purchase.

The cameras you list are all excellent beginner DSLRs. And can be considered advanced too depending on whether you use all the features. I would handle each and see which feels better, and whose controls are most intuitive for the most frequent uses.

Skip the Sony A58 and Canon 1200D, I'd reocmmend the D5200 over any of those!
