What type of camera is best for what I like?

I'm looking into cameras but not sure what to look in for so here is what i'm planning to do:

High resolution still pictures
Time lapse beyond a day or maybe two?
Many photos at once so I ca capture everything from start to finish
Reliable and portable
Mainly for purpose of travel, snap, travel, snap

What are turrets on a scope?

Just bought a Nikon prostaff target efr and it has a zero turret feature. Not quite sure what it is or how to use it? Any idea?

Nikon P520 not connecting to photo transfer?

I plugged the camera in (turned off) to my computer using the USB cord and Nikon Photo Transfer immediately opened up, but was not finding a source.

Then, I tried opening Nikon Photo Transfer first and then plugging in the camera. No dice.

I tried charging the camera for an hour before trying again.

When I plug the camera into the computer the on/off button turns on for a few seconds and then off, and then the charging light starts blinking.

Good camera for 340$ or lower?

OMG Please Help ME.

I brought my Nikon DSLR at school and then one of my classmate borrowed it so i let her. But she accidentally destroy the lens and i just can't scold her. That was a gift from my father and I was too scared because that lens is too expensive. I'm scared because my father might scold me for being negligent. Help me please:'( he will be back from work, i can't tell him. I want a serious answer please. I already told mom about it but she said i should tell dad about it but too scared?

Video Stabilizer for recording an amateur film?

Hi, I'm planning to film a short action movie that would require a lot of running and panning from the camera operator. I already have a tripod but I was looking around to see what tools there are to stabilize the film from hand movements.

Photography camera what to get?

I will soon be starting sixth form and looking at getting a camera for photography but i'm not sure what one would be the best

I would want one that has

1) at least 14 megapixels or above
2) no more than 300 pounds price range
3) able to have a good macro ability
4) good portability (not to heavy and bulky)

I would also like to stick to a nikon or a cannon camera thank in advance for your help i'm really confused on all these different cameras avaliable and i don't know what one would be right for me
