Ok so I'm really into taking pictures and photography and I have a Nikon Nikkor 15x wide Optional zoom VR but when I'm out at school and places I don't bring it with me. I have an Ipod 4 gen, and the quality of iPhone pictures is much better than my iPod pictures for when I'm out somewhere. Would I be able to buy and iPhone with no plan and still use the Camera, and all the apps it comes with? Also could I have my apps and music on there and use Wi-Fi so it's just like an iPod, but really an iPhone?

Which one takes sharper photos and has a better IQ? I really like to have f2.8 from the Tamron, but i also like the zoom on Nikon lens. Would you prefer the f2.8 over the zoom?

Please see this pic
This is mY af-dc nikkor 135 mm lens. It was fall down to the floor and the outer ring distorted. I know i'm lucky there's no further damage. But this will affect picture quality… Little.a little, the little?
I have seen through this lens after removing from camera and i noticed that the ring is not seems to be perfectly round.
Please tell me. I'm very sad for this thing. :".
Added (1). And there's any way to fix it?

Is there a HUGE difference between nikkor 18-55 and 16-85?
When i say difference, i mean IQ and sharpness, so forget about the focal length. I wanted to buy a better zoom, but i have read so many good reviews about both, some people saying that they were pretty much the same when it came to sharpness! Lets say i'm doing portraits, is it really worth spending all that money for the 16-85? And no i don't want to get a prime, simply because there's no zoom.

Is it worth to buy an old Nikkormat FT3 film slr?
I saw one, priced around $100 in a yard sale., I like the body design… Gives that vintage look kind of thing… And from what i research, its one of the rarest camera model that nikon have produced in years… Will my money be worth it to buy the used SLR film camera? Right now I have my own compact camera… So, what will it be? Should i go for the 1977 made camera or stick with my newer digital compact camera?

What is the difference between Nikkor 35mm f1.8G and Nikkor 50mm f1.8G?
All i know is they are prime lenses for portraits and the widest aperture they can go up to is 1.8.
What does that 35mm and 50mm mean?

Is there any good video reviews for the Nikkor 200-400mm lens?
I'm looking to get a new lens and was really interested in the Nikkor 200-400mm F/4 Lens. I looked on youtube and did not find any good reviews that showed it on the camera with sample images.

Why is it that the Nikkor 18-200mm is so much more expensive than the Tamron 18-200mm?
Because the Nikkor lens is £517 and the Tamron is £153

Will i need to adjust aperture, iso and shutter speed while in the automatic mode of dslr?
And in Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens what is the minimum and maximum aperture value i can set?

What lens should I use for video?
I'm saving up for a Nikon D5200(with the 18-55mm lens kit). I'm concerned on what lens I should use for video making. I need a good, or very decent lens that cost less than 300$. Preferably, a Nikkor lens. Any suggestions? Please have some support behind your suggestion. I'm doing basic video making. Nothing extreme or action packed.
