I will be traveling to Europe in about three weeks and I'm looking for a new lens to fit my Nikon d40. I'm an amateur photographer as I'm only 16 years old, but I want something that is going to take quality photographs at further distances than the lens that originally came with the camera. I was looking at the 50 - 300mm, but I'm not sure if there was something better suited for me.
Why does my picture has a shadow in the middlle?
Hi. I'm an amateur photographer and recently acquired a nikon d90 camera, i'm a baby at photography so i don't really know the fine features of my camera yet. My concern is that on some of the pics i've taken there's usually a circle shape shadow in the bottom middle portion of the picture, is my camera busted, or am i doing anything wrong?
I have a Nikon D80 and it seems like the greens are just way too green, and there's a slight greenish tinge to the rest of the prints. I know its not the printing company, because they show up the same way on my computer. Its been almost a year like this and I really appreciate all of the feedback!

Okay, so for my birthday i'm asking for a nikon dslr camera- i'm really getting into photography and want a new camera - i'm trying to decide between a nikon d7000 and a new nikon d5100- the price difference isn't a problem so don't worry about that- which should i go for? I'm using a nikon D3000 to photograph a friends band. I don't want to use the flash because i feel like it takes away from the ambiance so my question is, how can i take a sharper picture of my guys without using the flash. I set the ISO speed to the highest setting but is there something else that can help a little. I know i won't get amazing shots where they are completely still without buying a better camera. I just want some suggestions.
