Nikon SLR Cameras

Why are my pictures green?

I have a Nikon D80 and it seems like the greens are just way too green, and there's a slight greenish tinge to the rest of the prints. I know its not the printing company, because they show up the same way on my computer. Its been almost a year like this and I really appreciate all of the feedback!

Check what white balance you have set, it should match the colour balance of the light, daylight, shadow, tungsten, fluorescent etc. Sounds like your cameras set on one of the fluorescent settings.

Check your white balance as suggested and also check to see what colorspace you are working in. Most labs use sRGB and if you are in Adobe RGB your images will look funky in color too.
Chances are your white balance is the culprit. If you don't know how to use a custom white balance, use auto white balance.

Yes it seems that it is all about your white balance.

There's a way to nail your white balance every time.

Here is what I do.

While your images on your monitor looks similar to your photo prints, you may want to consider calibrating and profiling your monitor
