Which camera wouold be best for me?
I'm wanting a new camera, I own a Fuji Film s2500hd and am lookign to upgrade with a camer with changeable lenses. I have found three I like the sound of Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2, Panasonic Lumix G10 and the Nikon D3000. I like the look of them all, the fell and the price is just right for me. I was just wondering what someone who knows more about cameras then me thought.
Nikon D40 Self-portraits using timer/autofocus?
I know you can take a picture of something using a timer, but what's an easier way to do a self protrait with one without the remote? When I put it on timer and jump into the shot, it doesn't focus on my body, it focuses on what I focused on before I went in, so I end up being blurry. Is there a way to make it focus on people that just step in front of it?
What shutter speed should I use for photos of people indoors?
I'm using nikon D90 with 24-70 2.8, also 70-200 2.8… What shutter speed will be safe to use handheld and not get any blur? Group shots and also people walking around casual and laughing?
To be safe, should I jack my ISO up until i'm atleast at 1/100th? Or just forget using grainy 1600 ISO and stick with sb600 flash and 100 ISO?
How to photograph hands/nails with a DSLR?
I need to photograph hands with my nikon D50 to demonstrate my work. I'm somewhat of an slr novice and would love any suggestions on how to make the hands look less like alien beasties and more like the works of art they are!

How to turn NEF files into JPEG files?
I have a D3100 Nikon camera that I just got and had taken almost 900 pictures on the memory card that I have and downloaded them all onto my computer. I'm trying to upload them to walgreens.com but it won't upload the NEF filed pictures. How do I change the format of these NEF files into JPEG files? It seems like the NEF files are like 4 times bigger than the JPEG ones and I just don't get it. It's getting quite frustrating.

What would be a good 67 mm lens attachment for my camera for football games?
I have the nikon d50
I'm planning on upgrading from my Nikon d40 to a Nikon d7000. I currently have for lenses, af-s 18-200 and af-s 10-24. What should I expect to see from this upgrade? Will these lenses perform the same way on a d7000? I'm assuming that if I crop a photo with the higher MP it would be a lot sharper with the d7000. Any other info is appreciated.
