Has anyone ever used a Nikon D40 6.1 MP Digital SLR Camera?
If so, what are the pro's and con's

Nikon d40.used for professional work?
I've had the camera since it came out and have been doing mostly landscapes and scenery, although i have done portraits and one wedding with it as well… I don't use the kit lens i have a 18-200 VR on it. As well as a flash unit
i want to get into more professional stuff which is what i'm in the process of doing now… I wanted opinions on use of this camera in the professional field?
there's other thinks i wanna get like more flashes and a superzoom lens for wildlife… But would like opinions on the camera for use in the professional field to see if i should wait on those and get a new camera…
PS: the camera has been well taken care of and its insured as well as all my photo equipment.

I want to replace my Nikon D40 Lens. Which one shall i buy?
I think the motor on my kit lens on the Nikon D40 DSLR Camera has gone, and i wanted to replace my lens. Any recommendations on what to go for?
For now, i want an all rounder kind of lens, to take of architecture and people… I know that because of the D40, it only accepts certain lenses so i'm a bit confused what to go for, but i obviously want an auto focus mode too.

What kind of lens is good for everyday use with a dslr?
I'm planning on purchasing a Nikon D3000 body separate and a lens kit for it which includes the fisheye lens, wide angle, and macro because I love the effects of those lenses. What type of lens should I get for just everyday use?

My lens autofocus does not work in long distance (more than 6 meters)
I have a Nikon D70 camera and a Nikon AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D. The autofocus works fine in 6 meters distance, but more than that, the autofocus will not lock and it will not also let me take any picture. For example, 10 meters away from the object, autofocus fails miserably but the manual focus still works. However, no matter how I set the focus, the picture seems to be out of focus. I have try different apertures but it does not help at all. When I try to take a landscape picture, it seems to be out of focus also (even if I set it to infinity).

I'm working on a script for my first film and I thought it would be cool if I could add it on IMDB. Now I'm only 13 years old and I'm being serious here. I got After Effects, a Nikon D5100, and bunch of other stuff and I plan to film it this summer. Is it possible to add it on IMDB?

I'm homeless, but I have quite a few valuables on me?
I'm going to a homeless shelter. They will not let me in to Tuesday, so I have to sleep on the streets until then. Anyways, I have a tripod with a ballhead on me. I also have a nikon d3100 camera, a polaroid instant 300 camera, three different Nikon lenses, I have a nikon sb700 flash, and a canon eos rebel 2000 film camera, and Acer laptop, and a kindle fire. I mean, it's all in my military duffle bag I kept when I got out eight years ago. They are going to check my bag when I get there, I'm sure. I will have a place to lock my stuff, but I don't want other homeless people to see it. When I knew I would become homeless, the last thing that I would ever give up is my dream.photography is my dream, so I made sure not to sell my stuff under any circumstances. But is it odd to be homeless with so many valuables?

How to shadow/black out photos?
I don't even know the correct terminology for what I'm wanting to do. My best friend is wanting me to take some maternity photos of her tomorrow and this is an idea I'm going with… (see links).
I don't know how to get this effect for the pictures, where everything else is blacked out, and her belly and body are shadowed.
I'm shooting with a Nikon D5100. Thanks!
