I need someone who is a professional photographer can tell me what lens & flash can I use to shoot high speed photos for ex: Fruits splashing through water or taking photos of smoke.
I really need the name of the lens & flash, I've got a NIKON D5100 and I'm only a begginnerr. If I can have a small talk with a professional photographer through skype or anything that'll be grateful.

How to check for issues on a nikon d5100?
I'm going to visit Hong Kong soon, hut only for 2 days. Since everything is generally cheaper there I will be buying a nikon d5100. I'm worried that there might be some issues with it that I will only discover once I leave hong kong. What can I do to test everything that needs testing while at the shop AND when I get back to the hotel? PS. When I say everything I mean EVERYTHING like sound ISO and the whole thing. (I'm a beginner:$) thanks in advance!
Added (1). When I say issues I mean "errors" or "faults" that would require me to go back to the shop and exchange it for another nikon d5100

I have had my camera for about a year now but I have only just stated making videos with it. When I record I have it on 1080p 24fps, 100 iso and on pal. I know the camera is really good I just don't know how to set it up.
I would like it to look as good as it does in this video:
This is what to does look like its just a close up of my face, i was going to try and do a black eye effect with AE:
If you play it in 1080p you will see that it looks pretty bad:/
Anyone know how I can fix this?

Why is my nikon d3200 gets heated after recording video of 20 mins?
And the full battery was also low after recording video of 20 mins, y is that? What is the problem? Is it battery problem or the camera problem?

How to edit photographs to get a glossy finish?
I'm a pretty amateur photographer currently shooting with a Nikon D90 and trying to find my way in respect of what i'm actually good at taking, i especially enjoy portraits of people and find i get great shots but i want to add the glossy look to some of them and simply can't figure out how.
I have paint shop pro x 5 and photoshop cs5 to work with, i can pretty much get any effect i want but am at a total loss when it comes to that glossy magazine look.
I know i could simply print them onto glossy paper but i would like to be able to edit the look onto them to view on my computer first if you see what i mean.
Can anyone help with this?
Added (1). Lots of interesting and somewhat conflicting opinions, having googled the subject i have found a plug in for CS5 that claims to gloss the images but have not yet decided if i should buy it as some of the sample images look metallic rather than glossy, i may well just print onto gloss paper the images i'm happy with.
Going to put this one to vote.

How to photography animals at dawn?
I'm trying to figure out what settings to use for my Nikon D3000 around 6-8pm in wooded or shaded areas. I tried photographing deer this evening, but it was wanting to use flash-Dont really want to scare them away! Turning my flash off makes my photos blurry, grainy, and colorless. Any suggestions?
Added (1). Thanks fhotoace that is a big help. I have a 55-300 lens I'm using now, and a tripod.

Shooting in overcast nights at a stadium?
I was taking photos of football players the other night on my Nikon D3100 with a 55 to 200 mm lens and there was a storm cloud over head. The photos came out very dark and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for next time I'm forced to shoot in these conditions. Thank you.
Added (1). I was shooting in manual, 1/125, ISO 1600, there are 8 sets of flood lights on the side of the stadium. I was on the sideline of the field.

How do I focus my Nikon d3100?
I'm trying to film a video of myself showing objects. But every time I hold an object up to the camera it doesn't focus on it, how do I focus objects to the camera not manually?
