My Nikon D5000 doesn't work with cable release or infrared release anymore?
It worked for a little while, now it doesn't seem to recognise either remotes, I was wondering if it may be the camera body and if there's anything I can do to fix it?
I recently bought the Nikon d3200 which came with a uv lens to put on the lens. So I put it on but I can't get it off! Whenever I try to screw it off, the lens turns and makes a sound. I'm scared to break it.

I'm currently looking to buy a Olympus OM-2n online, it comes with many lenses and i was wondering if there was anyway to use these lenses on my Nikon D3100?
I have briefly looked into the converter rings and these have confused me more- do they work changing the lens from SLR to DSLR? And can anyone recommend any? Any help is very appreciated!

I've got quite worried after reading how this camera doesn't seem to last long in terms of number of photos…
I'm using it for an event that's lasting around 9 hours. (I won't be taking photos all the time though!)
I always use the viewfinder too and don't check the screen much for looking at previous photos I've taken!
I also won't be using it for video, but are there any other tips people can share?
